How to get a business visa for Vietnam 2015?

Does Vietnam business visa B3 exist? How can I get a business visa for Vietnam for my work in 2015? What is the procedures and paperwork to obtain a business visa?

Please be advised that in the future I may be entering Vietnam to undertake consultancy to financial institutions within Vietnam, as such I need to put in place the various business Vietnam visa to enable me to undertake my work (for short periods 1 to 2 weeks on a contractual basis). My employer is an internationally active consultancy firm and may from time to time request I support activities in Vietnam.

Please provide advice on the best option moving forward, what actions do I need to take and what visa should I be applying for?

Regarding to your question on Vietnam business visa 2015, we would like to response as below:

In the Vietnam Law on Immigration No. 47/2014/QH13 passed by the National Assembly of Vietnam, there are 20 different categories of Vietnam visa. The Vietnam business visa B3 before is known as LV, DT, DN and LD visa now.

According to the new Law on Immigration, Vietnam visa type DN is granted to those who is working with Vietnamese Enterprises. In order to get DN visa, the applicants will need to provide us the following documents of the enterprise which you have a business with:

- The letter of authorization of the enterprise (original);

- The copy of business registration certificate of the enterprise (notarized);

- The copy of stamp registration certificate of the enterprise (notarized);

- The copy of tax code registration certificate of the enterprise (notarized);

- The introduction letter for the stamp (03 samples) and the signature (03 samples) of the director (original);

- The visa form (original);

- The working program of the applicants (original);

- The documents to state the reason for getting visa on arrival (original);

The processing time will take 3-5 working days since we received all the above mentioned documents.
